Body Sculpting Treatments are non invasive procuderes that help to get rid of unwanted fat, reduce cellulite and sagging skin.

Wood Therapy

Known also as Maderotherapy, is an ancient technique originally from Asian cultures where wooden tools of various shapes and sizes where used in different body parts to massage different areas of the body. Initially it was practiced for medical purposes to relieve muscles aches, stress and anxiety and afterwards spreaded to the aesthetic field in the western world.

Thanks to its high performance in the removal of localized adipose tissue (fat) and stimulate lymphatic drainage this natural and non-invasive therapy finds application in various scenarios ranging from cellulite reduction to the body contouring

Benefits of Wood Therapy:
  • Helps stimulate the lymphatic system by flushing out toxins and waste products from the body (detox effect) and drain excess of fluids (draining effects)
  • Helps reduce water retention
  • Helps break up stubborn fat and promote reduction of adipose tissue and reshapes the body
  • Reduces the appearance of cellulite
  • Stimulate the metabolism, which can aid in weight loss
  • Boosts energy levels
  • Reinforces immune system
  • Tones muscles
  • Firms and tightens skin by boosting production of vitamins and collagen
  • Prevents scar tissues and reduces fibrosis
Contra-indications to the treatment:
  • Pregnancy
  • Varicose veins, lymphedema and lipoedema
  • Cancer
  • Skin conditions or sunburn
  • Surgery in the last 2 months
  • Severe medical conditions

In some circumstances the treatment can be performed by avoiding the areas affected. Client must inform the therapist if any of the contra-indication above applies before booking and seek medical advice for any concern.

Pre and after treatment care advice:

It is important to understand that in order to achieve the desired results you need to follow some steps before and after treatment in fact as per any other type of massage therapy, Body Sculpting should be combined with a healthy lifestyle, therefore it is recommended to:

  • Drink plenty of water before and after (at least 2 litres or more), this will help to flush out toxins and waste.
  • Daily exercises (e.g. Long walking, Gym, Yoga, Pilates) to speed up the metabolism and burn fat
  • Avoid sugary/salty food and fizzy drinks before and after treatment.
  • Do NOT drink alcohol the night before your treatment.
  • Reduce or eliminate tobacco, caffeine and alcohol intake.
  • Do NOT have a heavy meal before your treatment
Ultrasound Cavitation RF

Ultrasound cavitation is a non-invasive technology that uses low-frequency ultrasonic waves and radio frequencies.
These waves form small bubbles around the adipose tissue under the skin which, as they increase in size, burn and promote the breakdown of fat cells.
The liquid eventually is expelled through the urine.

Ultrasound Cavitation RF can be performed as a single treatment or combined with wood therapy, Brazilian Body Sculpting and Low Laser Lipo Therapy (LLLT). These treatments offer a variety of benefits that include body and face contouring, skin tightening, cellulite reduction and inch loss.

How many sessions to see results?

Although the results are noticeable from the first session, you will need 8 to 10 sessions to achieve optimal and long-lasting results.

How often?

Sessions can be done at most once, every 7-10 days.

During this period, the lymphatic system will have time to remove the broken-down fat cells exposed to
ultrasound. This has a positive effect on metabolic processes, as well as reduces/eliminates oedema;
After a course of treatments to maintain the results, we recommend a biannual (6 months) follow-up course
of 1-3 treatments.

At the Clinic Body Sculpting treatments are offered by Robert.
